Installed my AVC-R today
I had the bloody thing for like 6 months. I got it sometime in October and I was debating on where to put it. I originally had it hang from my windshield. I had everything installed where I want it. I just needed to hook them up via vacuum lines and from the face unit to the ECU. However, other projects came in. I tackled stuff like the Prothanes. Winter rolled around and it got too cold to work outside. So basically the face unit just hung from the top of my windshield. Well just recently, it fell from there due to the weak adhesive and smacked me in the head. I decided that I do not want it there. I instead, positioned it right in front of the center console vents. I then reroute the cable thru the vents in the center console. I took some quick taps and got everything finally hooked up. Turned the car on and she purrs. The AVCR engaged and I started messing with it. Set the boost the way I wanted to. Haven't drove her yet but I will later tonight. Hopefully, it'll be a blast.

The AVC-R is a great boost controller if you take sometime to learn/play with it but can say the manual is pretty useless. If you google search, you can find much better descriptions of what everything does & how to adjust it. I love mine, especially being fwd.

Yeah I googled the stuff in before and lots of other people stand by it. I love it alot but I still haven't been able to set the boost properly for the self-learning function to kick in.
