Because I keep losing track of shit I need to tidy up in the car I'll just make a list for the spring time or whenever the #### it gets warmer.
1. sunroof - most likely off track, complete disassembly and figure out some way to fix the rust
2. thermostat - overcooling
3. upper and lower radiator hose - replace
4. tranny...

So I woke up this morning at like 7 in the morning to my aunt screaming for us to get up. I'm in a daze so I'm like whatever but I heard something about my grandma. Now don't get me wrong, I love her wholly but she's been in the hospital more times than I can count and she always comes out fine. I figured she must have had another usual plethora of problems. I grudgingly get out of bed really tired...

I am officially broke. I have about $20 to my name. The last thing I bought were brembo calipers off an Evo 8. No more modding from this point on. I need to recuperate my losses. Time to go job hunting. With that said, I'll compile my list now on what's planned for next year.
1. ETS race FMIC
2. Evo Brembos w/ SS lines and rotors
3. Tokico Illuminas with H&R OE Sports...

Day 1
I begin work at like 1 or two. I drained the oil from the pan, filter housing, and oil drain housing. I unbolted the downpipe first. Then worked on getting the oil feed line loose. In short, I broke it. But at least it's off. Then unbolted the manifold. Morale was pretty high since I knew what I was doing. I undid the coolant lines and it gushed out like a waterfall. I didn't managed...

On my quest to eliminate wheel hop and have stiffer motor mounts, I have been trying to finish my install of Prothanes. I did the driver side and front about a year ago. Those went in and out quickly. I started up again recently and did my rear mount last weekend. It was a pain considering the inserts totally did not fit and I had to burn the rubber out and fill it with construction grade polyurethane....

Picked it up from the UPS today. Love the polished look although it's pointless on the exhaust housing since I'm going to be shipping this out to Swain Tech to be coated. I do not plan on running a heat shield around this baby. Beauty and power like this cannot be covered.
*edit* Received back from Swain Tech. Great looking coating. I love it.

My goals for this summer to lose my track virginity. However, I want it to be great, just like any other devirginizing, if you know what I mean. Therefore, I've been preparing my car for a bigger turbo. Fuel system is nearly done. After this weekend, hopefully all I need left is 850cc injectors. I have DSMLink, my EPROM is chipped, and I have a Tial 38mm on the way. However, I recently started truly...

I can tell I'm getting dangerously obsessed with anything that has to do with 4g63, turbos, DSMs, Eclipse, Talon, Laser, Evo, Galant VR4. Although I have been modding my car just like everyone else, I do not feel I have this itch fulfilled. It's a call of yearning. So this is what I did.
I bought a 6 bolt bare block with no crank along with a 1G head. As if I wasn't losing money as...

The stock Infinity is crap. Ever since I got the car, the FM radio does not work. Which is fine since majority of the time, it's ads. So I listen to my PSP or CDs. Of course after like hearing the same songs over and over again, you get tired and want to change. Of course I couldn't turn to my radio.
Lately, the cassette player has been crapping out as well. It'll spit out the cassette...

It was a gorgeous day. Everything seemed great. My dog has been whining for a week now day and night for some reason however. Took him to the vet last Saturday because I thought his leg hurt which was not the case. It got worst and he stopped eating which drew great concern for us since my dog loves to eat.
So I took him to the vet and just waited. Massaged him, rubbed him all over,...

Well I had a bbq on Friday at work. We basically got paid to eat. Awesome.
Saturday is where the fun begins. Having previously bought a 3 inch downpipe, catback, and rear sway bar, I was eager to put it on. So I went to my buddy's house and we shot the shit for a bit. He had some stuff to do but he was still a great help. He had to change brakes. Once he helped me take off one of the...

No he didn't die. But I consider him dead. There's been a whole rift between him and the rest of my family because his dad/my uncle left him cause his wife/his mom cheated on him. I won't say what my uncle did was right.
We've been hanging out for a bit since Fall-ish 2007. We went to bars and drank a bit. Met some of his friends. Is it so wrong for me to facebook the girls later and...

I had the bloody thing for like 6 months. I got it sometime in October and I was debating on where to put it. I originally had it hang from my windshield. I had everything installed where I want it. I just needed to hook them up via vacuum lines and from the face unit to the ECU. However, other projects came in. I tackled stuff like the Prothanes. Winter rolled around and it got too cold to work outside....

It really is. I'm not even joking. There are several 2gs in the parking lot as I speak, including my own. There's a red 2ga Eclipse GS, red 2gb Eclipse GS, and a black Spyder I occassionally see from time to time. There's even a 1g Eclipse in the faculty parking lot. But today...today topped it off. Today, in the morning, I parked right next to a white Galant GVR4 with black factory wheels. She sat...

Three of my tires are leaking. My dad decided yesterday to drive my car out to this shop and have them fix it. This car was originally my dad's. It was in bad shape when he was ready to hand it to me. Headgasket blew, turbo was blown, oil was leaking, all that good stuff. He spent 5k to fix it up at the dealer. Way overpriced. I've been studying this site for 4 hours everyday and everynite. I told...

Suprisingly, the hard parts became the easy parts, and the easy parts became the hard parts in this installation.
I have heard the stories about exhaust manifolds. I'm sure you have too. Broken studs, stripped bolts, frozen, stuck, etc etc. From the last occurences with the O2 sensor, and the oil pan plug, I knew this would hell.
I decided to test my luck first and took...

I was driving along in the early morning going to school entering the BQExpressway. I'm underneath the bridge right and there's another car in front of me. I couldn't see the road where I have to turn. As soon as I turned, I saw this big chunk of gray.
It's around 7:45 in the morning so my mind is a bit slow. Just as I run over it, I registered what it was and I was like ####! The...

I've been meaning to change the oil in my DSM for a while now. I already went past the 3k mile point. But gf kept me busy on the weekends and weekdays I have school. Being the first oil change of my life, I wanted to have at least a full day to do it so in case if anything goes wrong, I could diagnose and still have time to fix. Winter break rolls around, gf and I get into a fight so we're not talking,...

For weeks, I've been getting bad mileage due to my front oxygen sensor being lazy. It was damaged from the coolant leaking into the exhaust. I ordered a new one and it came in. I knew I was in for a match of the century since they're notorious for being frozen. Several blasts of WD-40 and too sore muscles later, I retreated to the site looking for help. PB Blaster was key as well as a flame torch....
