Anyway i had to yank the tranny out a couple weeks ago. So i shoulda pulled it with the engine at the same time but that didnt happen. So instead i tried just getting the tranny out. Well the passneger side axle wouldnt come out which was great. Its still stuck in the tranny wont come out. I ripped it out at the boot but still it was hitting on the frame. So had to yank the engine out. Anyway what should i do with it now. Also the tranny is no good know. Bellhousing is cracked. I was thinking of putting a 2.4 built motor or a 2.3 fully built but those are like 5+ for the whole thing from sbr. And im never going to track it. Maybe one saturday ill take it to the dragway just to do a run or two but i doubt it'll ever get serious. And i currently have no car so im on loaners from my cousin. The engine was rebuilt about 7k miles ago from the previous owner but i had to a headgasket not to long ago cause they used a felpro. I want to at least put a bigger turbo on the motor. How much power can the stock block handle? I was going to a sbr head stage 3 with cams and street intake and one of there bolt on sbr turbos. I was looking at there 2.3 stroker kit which was 1.5 grand i could possibly do that myself. Would i have to do any boring out? My cylinder walls looks pretty clean. Also i will buy an ipt tranny with a high stall converter so that'll take a good 3.5 grand. Just want to have at least more whp then those mercedes sl's. But i need to be able to drive it everyday without have to worry about rebuilding engines all the time!
