Blog Title: 1997 GST DD looking for 300whp

First of all thanks for checkin out my dsm journal and i hope you enjoy.

*Sorry in advance if you dont like the huge pics. I uploaded to photobucket then found out they were huge and didnt feel like redoing it.

Early 2010 i sold my 98 eclipse gs as can be seen here.

I was in search for a better performance oriented platform. I was looking at s2ks and wrxs for my new dd. In my spare time i frequented this forum to read random tech articles and was bit by the bug again. I wanted another dsm but take this one in a different directon than my previous. In November 2010 i found a 1997 eclipse gst. Took a 3 hour drive picked her up and brought her home.

With my previous car i had done some research on turboing the 420a so i had some knowledge on what it took to make my car go faster. I started using the aquired knowledge i had gained from this forum to plan out my build. I want a reliable dd, 300whp, and very clean looking dsm. I know that i might get some bad feedback on the aesthetic stuff i bought for the car since the money could had been put towards performance parts but i like my cars to look good. So now its time to gather parts.

Well guys over the last week ive been tryin to figure out what to do about the boost creep im having. Race gas? No my goal was to go pump and im stickin with it. Choke the exhaust? Well that would be going backwards from where i wanna go. Port the turbo? Throwing money at a solution thats not sure to work no thanks. Solution? Found a e16g for sale on here which should help with the creep and get me to my goals that im wanting to reach.
Since i was having the car tuned this week things arent going to work out since i need to wait for the new turbo and next week my tuner is out of town. Plus today i had to drop some tuning cash on fixing my comp. Cant believe that these comp techs charge as much an hour as my local performance shop.
Tunes backed up to June now so we shall see how things work out. Though I am disapointed in not getting tuned this week I am looking forward to the new turbo. At the moment the car is at the shop having the wideband bung welded on, cant wait to get her back.

New Parts! I got some gsx front calipers and foglight covers since the last post and that should do it for the update.
