1997 GST DD looking for 300whp

Well winters coming soon so i figured i probablly wont be updating to much during this busy season so heres a final hoorah until spring time.

So far nothing drastic has changed with my setup. I turned the boost up to 20psi and tuned accordingly. I also managed to fix all my CELs. Having that lil CEL light disapear gives sucha great feeling. Also i finally leaned the car out for cruise...

Well today i went to a locals house to purchase a moded wastegate actuator to maybe fix my boost creep situation. It opened up my wastegate flapper a considerable amount more but still no fix. Well guys over the last week ive been tryin to figure out what to do about the boost creep im having. Race gas? No my goal was to go pump and im stickin with it. Choke the exhaust? Went to talk to my tuner today and let them know that my boost was still creepin around to a lil below 20psi. Tuner said that max boost could only be 16 to 17 psi on pump. So ill needa fix that before the tune. I thot boosting to 18-19 would be fine but i dont know how this will work out. Will keep it updated

Well if people with similar builds as me are following this and run into the problems i have here is the solution. The nipple on the wastegate was in a postion where it would poke the hose on it for the MBC against the intake so that it would not have any control on boost. The intake that was on it was an FP 4 inch. My local performance shop told me i would need to buy a new intake. So i did and purchased...

So im having problems with my boost. The fp intake i have is pinching the hose going to my boost controller. The nipple on the wastegate is right against the intake. Local shop said i should just invest in a new intake. So i did bought an ebay intake and here is the comparison.

Well its been awhile since ive updated my journal. The new clutch is broken in now and it feels great much better then when I first purchased the car. As far as bad things the HID kit i put on the car had a problem and melted alot of the wiring. I have no idea how it happened since the wires that melted were right under the intake.

Update on the problems with...

Well thot id give an update with the car. The other day i noticed white smoke comin out the exhaust while it was warmin up. So i did a comp test and the results were 202, 190, 190, 195. Seems to be in great condition so ruling out the HG. Ordered a new pcv and if that doesnt work im gonna guess its my turbo is needing a rebuild. Im also thinking it might be the turbo because i was boosting to 10lbs...

Local guy here is upgrading his setup and was gettin rid of some stuff. So i picked up his evo mani that has been ported out. I also was not feelin the rims that the car has on it. Not really into the whole black with sliver lip. So i started lookin for something knew had it down to some black Rota d2s or some bronze sub-zeros. But to keep in the theme i found a nice set of evo mr bbs wheels instead....
