8/8/08 Ennis 1/4 Mile

Went back to the 1/4 last friday (8-8-08) on 5 gals of VP c16 and ~5 gals of 93 octane. Got the boost to 28 psi, but first gear is now useless, and a 1.8 60 foot was all I could muster, bringing the car to an 11.69 at 125mph. Still on the OEM non-lsd rear end, and an open 4 spider center diff. Time for an investment in some M/T QTP slicks and cheap drag wheels.
Wound up shredding another alternator belt. Bought a new gates alt belt + cheap PS belt (it was damaged) and found my PS pulley damaged. Took that off, and fixed the damage. Alt belt only shreds during high rev applications, so there is something not aligned, or something is nudging it off.
We'll see how she does when this next drivetrain upgrade is finished.
