After much thinking of getting out of the dsm game I've made the leap to a darker side. I had 2k to either build my dsm or put it towards a running car. I was started looking at different options on what I would want to put the money as a downpayment. I stopped at a friends shop one day looking at a 93 sc300 but he wanted like 8k for it which was retarded for my area. He then said he has a 87 turbo supra with a little problems for 2k, after taking it for a look and a spin a few times I figured it had to be little problems, well I talked him down to 1400 and took it and didn't look back, got it home and 3 days later it was running top notch, one of the wires to the isc was broken, and a cold start injector wasn't even hooked up, fixed a leaking secondary type fpr, and turned down the boost because of boost cut out, and this thing ran and is still running top notch. it has enough mods run on my supra to put down fantastic numbers once fully tune. so my dsm will probably be up for sale soon to pay for aem ems for the supra. it's been fun and I know I'll be back. but for now I think I'll enjoy my supra.

omg what a past few weeks, so after my car going threw 2 heads in less then a week, first head my fault completely, second one wasn't really my tensioner slipped and bam bent valves havn't touched it and it's a miracle I have 1 more head that will work, don't ask me where it came from but I'm glad I have it, anyways so I've been helping a friend swap a 89 6 bolt into his 2g which sucks donkey ass truely I'm about to give him my screen name so he can beat his 4g63, omg we got it to start but it seemed like it had cams and it's stock, so I recheck the timing I believed it was off and didn't want to start it and wanted to pull the timing belt, well I was out voted and we tried to start the car and guess what his tensioner slipped (I DIDN"T DO HIS TIMING BELT NOR BLAMING ANYONE) just dumb luck I guess, so I pull the timing apart, so spin the crank reset the gears try and retime it cause we really doubt we bent any valves the car barely even cranked if anything when the timing belt slipped, and it was a pain in the ass about 3 hours to put the belt on and everything and I realize what the hell is going on his tensioner are is a ####ing 2g, and per some write up I randomly memorized he needs the 1g which I have about a 45 minute drive from his house, oh yeah, then yesterday f####kkkkkk, was driving around looking for a valve spring compressor, my daily breaks down wouldn't start so I walk home because I was literally right behind my apartment call my dad he comes give me a jump start great car starts runs drives turns off/on, so I figure pull battery hook it up to the charger swap the corroded terminals, put the battery back in after a full charge and ####ing piece won't start again, and after 30 minutes of jacking with it I quit decided I'll just deal with it tomorrow, close the door go in the house, and get ready to drop a friend of with my dads car I borrowed, and realized I ####ing locked my keys in the car at this time I'm beyond pissed, I'm 1 second away from breaking the window to get them out, I promise you if there was a brick or something close to grab I would have done it with out hesitation at all, so I call pop alock 47 bucks later they get my keys out and I go back to jacking with the car it's 1 oclock in the morning and have to go to work at 6 so wake up at 5, swap terminals in the dark mind you, still same problem ajdljdajklfajjkl;sdfajksdfldfjkl;...... sooooo pull the battery again put it on the charger again and bam sob is dead completely hasn't even touched the terminals to the car but for maybe 2 seconds to check the display I doubt it's anything but the battery now, and when I wake up this morning my daily thats dead now has a flat.. when will it end come on.

I recently was finished and was almost able to start my car a few good cranks and almost, well realized that one major problem, the plate that separates the timingbelt from the balance shaft some how hit my timing belt automatic tensioner and just ate away at my crank angle sensor, ooohh yeah so ordered a new one of sensor and had an extra plate laying around, well after being in a rush I must have not put the timing belt back on the right way and attempted to start this motor and after 2 cranks heard a pop and then nothing, well low and behold my laziness ended up costing me one good head and a week worth of work, bent almost all of my intake valves 3 exhaust valves and broke 2 exhaust valves off entirely, so next day traded a guy one of my old 1g heads I've had forever for another 2g 95 head that is mint condition, and finally have everything on and have checked the timing belt every 10 minutes, and finally after pushing myself for the past 4 days I'm almost ready to start it up tomorrow after putting the oil pan on and slapping the intake on..... what a week so now do it right the first time or redo it over and over again.

okay so finally I have my motor in, it was a serious pain in the ass, when you don't have an engine hoist it seriously sucks, so I had the motor complete and ready to put in, had a hoist borrowed for a day and was placing it in but it didn't get there because the crank bolt kept hitting the frame and getting stuck. well it was late and had to return the hoist, next day tore the motor apart and slide the motor in underneath the car and put the head on which sucked horribly, had it wired up and bolted down, and welp the dam oil supply line wouldn't hook backup for some reason seemed like it was bent or something, and the timing belt would not install correctly kept ending up sticking out a little so I'm pretty sure it's a bolt or some stupid shit like that but once the timing belt is installed I can fire it up and see how this bad boy runs. can't wait till after the motor is broken in.

So tonight was the final night of my motor build, put timing belt on, and the front timing belt cover and bolt down the oil pan finally and get ready to call a friend tomorrow to help me get the motor in the car, and oooohhhh what happens right when I'm bolting the valve cover back on, a piece of plastic that was from the old cam angle sensor falls into one of the spark plug holes, and right onto a piston, omg I nearly wanted to cry, after bolting everything back up making sure everything was into spec and having it nice and neat, this happens omg I've spent countless nights ripping this motor apart to triple and quadruple check everything and make sure nothing goes wrong.... now I have to ripe apart the head and get this one littttlllllee piece of plastic outta the motor, omg I can't wait to have this thing finished.

Also by the way the shell is finally done, the full 2gb conversion is complete swapped out the projectors for factory (gave my dad the projectors so he can see better at night) have all my interior finished and painted all the carpet and seats black, cleaned the engine bay up, but now one stupid little piece of plastic is holding me back for the moment.

so lately I've been finally working on my dsm, been working so much it wasn't even funny but time to my self and finally got the block out, of the shell and finished piecing together my replacement motor, motors complete and ready to be put in besides the cas which is the only part I messed up when pulling the motor, it's hell trying to pull a block with out a engine hoist, some how as soon as I lowered the jack out and hit it a few times it dropped out the bottom and I jacked the car up. and presto the block slide under the car came out and I was done. maybe I can do it the same way and get the new motor in I doubt so I guess I'll stop being cheap and invest in an engine hoist, boosted dsm here I come.

finally I'm almost complete with my dsm, from going to dam near bare shell to full interior and a complete motor I'm finally nearing the end only have to find wrist pins and do more research on what upgraded routes to go, it's funny been on dsmtuners for years but don't post just search hell if this had a number on search results instead of post I'd be a wiseman by now. it is funny every singal time I'm about to search I see someone elses post of the same problem with the answer. so I never post much I know I should help others out and I try but I guess I second guess myself. oh well I shall finally feel boost in my own freaking car and have some use to all these parts I have gotten.
