So today started out like any normal day. Woke up at 430 got ready walked out to my car crossed my fingers and started her up. Let her warm up for a little than I take off to work. Nothing unusual happening until I pull through the main gate on base. I come up to a stop light and see a cloud of white, I imediately think oh shit, when this happened on my wifes passat it was a new radiator, new radiator hose, new water pump, and a 1500 bill lol. So I took the first turn I could pulled into a spot and watched as a stream of coolant just leaked out of my car. I popped the hood looking looking an dthan boom see it, the coolant hose going to the throttle body had let go. Sweet. Oh well at least it didn't happen while I was on the highway.

same thing happened to me same hose but I was coming home from work and not far from home. 3/8 hose from Napa Auto did the trick so I replaced both of them. Now my wife's CRV sprung a leak and crack in the radiator so guess what doing this week end
. I guess it will beat racking pine needles and cutting down a few small cedar trees. It seems you lucked out in a way of not having to spend a few big bucks to get it fixed, good luck!!!!!!!!!! airman semper fi |
