So I just picked up an Evo 3 intake manifold and a 1g throttle body.

I traded my 2g throttle body for the manifold and picked up a 1g throttle body for $25 with all sensors and rebuilt.

They are both likely from the same casting, with differences in machining only. EVO3 or RVR, it's splitting hairs, they both rock.

I think your right. I saw a few 'real' evo 3 intake mani's, and they have a boost/vac barb on the right side sticking out to the drivers side. Mine has the spot for it, just not drilled out. But there are no part numbers on it that I could see to double check.
