Blog Title: TrboBLU - Project Ricecar to Racecar
TrboBlu, named for the license plate that is on her, came to me as a hacked up hot mess. I swear there was not a single bolt or wiring harness spared in the rice-attack of the previous owner. The car was rot free, so figured she deserved another chance at life.

This tracks the ground up semi-restoration of this Kona Blue Pearl 1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD.

While waiting for the work computer to load and find a license for Nuke, figured I'd run through the plan for Turbo Blue.

Modifications:
EVO 16g
FMIC
3" GM MAF
650cc Injectors
255 pump
DSMLINK V3

These will be running on a stock engine until spring. Come spring time, it will get a fresh rebuilt engine. (The engine from Snow White.) This will have a re-done head with titinuim valve springs and retainers, as well as 272 cams. I'm still considering what to do with the bottom end.

Suspension wise the car will be sitting on Koni's with eibach springs and poly bushings throughout.

Tell me about it. > The rear dif and suspension was done in that nasty blue too... I'll never understand what motivates people to make such decisions. For now I'll have to deal with it. When the car gets the other engine, It'll be resprayed something; either black (depending on money situation) or the correct color.

I techncially still have the white talon.. for now. Its strut tower rust got to bad for my liking; so she's been retired. I have someone interested in the shell, so it might be ressureccted someday.

SD is not out of the question either... just for now since I need it running, I have a tune on the Link from the white car that is pretty decent, so going to stick with the MAF for the time being.

Sad when you do a car some justice when you tear it apart, isnt it?
