Is it possible to burn a tcu chip to shift at a higher than 6500rpm?

Posted 06-06-2008 at 11:06 AM by toofast82
The car is a 1g awd a/t. I would like to have the trans shift at 7000k instead of the 6500 in the power setting. I may want to eventually change it higher with future mods. I am aware of the ipt shift box but not interested. I cant find any good recent writeups on the manumatic wiring mod or the box they used to sell on ebay. But can u burn an eprom for it. Eprom burning- Tunerpro- need help

Posted 06-04-2008 at 11:29 PM by toofast82
Looking into burning my own chips with the help of a friend and Tunerpro. I have a 91 A/t with the e932 ecu and all the info is see is for the e931. Could I just load the e932 into tunerpro, and use the changes according to e931? I see they have a base map for e932 on the yahoo dsm ecu group.
