Engine bay before any work

After about 2 hours of work taking things off

All the foam shit I got rid of

Battery Relocation

Decided to go for it and move the fuse box to the glove box, doing a lot of soldering tonight with extending the wires.

I'm starting to sand and clean the engine bay now that everything is out, anyone have any tips when going about this?

Maybe it is out of view in the picture but you should put a circuit breaker on that power wire as close to the battery as possible (within 18"). The current rating should be about the same or a little higher than the alternator fuse.
