Thanks man. Yes, Jack's does have parts for it, I just don't want to deal with it right now. It's way too hot, and I've got a ton of crap going on with other things. Hopefully I'll get to it soon. I need an lsd, and tires among other things so, I guess once I finish the stockpile, I'll start on getting it together. Possibly by Imports vs Domestics lol

I feel you man. I have no motivation at all either. I once again went into the garage today and left within 10 minutes. I don't know why, but Im just not in to much of a rush to work on the car. Maybe it's cause I have soooo much to do and no time to do it. Maybe this week I'll at least drain the tranny fluid and see what I find..

Chris, good job on getting your car diagnosed and running again.

Adam and Russ I know what you guys mean. I have so much to do, or that I can do, but its overwhelming when you have so much on the plate. I decided to only do the stuff that is over lapping to what I'm already doing for now so I can get the car back out of the garage for a while and maybe hit the track sooner than later.

Well I drained my tranny fluid finally and I have zero metal shavings in it? was wrong with it then? Some research I did found people desribing this same thing as a a bad hub, or roller pin. Any thoughts on this? Obviously whatever was jammed got unjammed when Tony brought me home on the trailor. Do I pull it still and open the case?

open it up man. My issue only happens once the tranny gets warm. Once it cools down ( after half a day maybe) I dont hear it, but I can still feel it hot or cold.

Well I take that last comment back. I do have a very small amount of metal particals in the fluid. They are very small, but still there. I'm sure some of this is normal to an extent, but not sure if it is damage from the problem, or just wear and tear from the track. Guess I'm pulling the tranny tomorrow..

I'm down at the moment. Trying to get things together for the 29th. Popping the tranny open as we speak..

Why don't we all make a day out of it at IREV for a meet? If I need to I'm throwing the stock tranny in and letting her rip.

Good luck Shawn!

I know this is a long shot, but does anybody have any spare QM or PTT floater plate's and/or pressure plate's lying around? I didn't check my clutch adjustment and overheated the shit out of mine and they are pretty damn warped. Im trying to race at IREV, so please lmk asap..

If not the warped QM is going back in with a stock tranny just to get me through..HOPEFULLY!!

Got the altenator today so that's taken care of.

Next week is my Dsm thrash week. My wife is taking our son with her on a work trip and I will have some spare time on my hands and I plan on using it to get everything done on my car that I have been putting off. I need to reinstall my rear subframe, do an alignment, replace my springs, front and rear rotors, new front pads, new brake lines, extended wheel studs and new lug nuts, finish trimming up my new lower IC pipe, clock my turbo and tune. Not to mention install my new fuel pump, stainless fuel filter run and hook up (AN) fuel line and so on and so on. If I can do most of hat I may race at irev. I do plan on watching at least

Update:

Broken 5/R syncro springs
Broken 1/2 syncro springs
Result is a stuck 1/2 hub slider which locked the tranny in gear. I sent it out to get fixed, so time will tell. I'm not quite sure what parts to order being it a upgraded gearset.

I'm throwing the stock tranny in for the time being with a clutch that needs rebuilt. Hopefully it shifts smooth enough to drive around.
