Alright, My girlfriend usually drives the eclipse while I am at work (work away from home). Well, she was on here way back from work and the car started jerking. Well, it turns out one of the (aftermarket) oil cooler lines was dragging the ground and it put a hole in it. So she pulls over and leaves the car at a gas station. Well, when I get home the following night, I found the problem. I fixed it and filled it up with tranny fluid. It did perfectly fine all the way home (30 miles). Today, the car wont engage in 4th gear. I have to leave O/D off and it does fine. As soon as I turn O/D on it wont engage, so I have to turn in back off. Also it threw a CEL and it reads (P1750 Solenoid Assy Malfunction). Is it time for the tranny rebuild? Thanks in advance

my over-drive is out too. its most likely your end clutch as is what is wrong with mine. its only $50 so its not a big deal. www.plymouthlaser.com has a how-to install on it and is really detailed. good luck :thumb:
