wanting to read some reviews of those with welded center diffs in your auto 1G's.

I'm thinking of making this my next purchase and was curious if its worth it or not. I do not daily drive my DSM or even drive it often, Its mostly a track car or I'll drive it to local car meets.

had a welded diff in my car in both auto and manual with lsd rear, welded rear and open rear diff....


i love welded center diff and will always have one. If for no other reason its awesome if you break something you can just pop off the tcase and drive shaft and drive it in FWD mod :)
 
How prone are the stock center diffs in the auto transmissions to failure? Just bought another built trans to replace my current IPT trans that needs to be rebuilt.

My current trans has a welded center diff. The one I bought doesn't.
