Plate LSD into auto?
Hi,
I know you can't just install a plate LSD in a standard auto trans, as the auto trans fluid is not compatiable with the plates, but is it possible to install a seal around the front output shaft, perhaps where the VC normally sits (I am planning to run a welded center diff). If I was able to do this, then I could run the diff housing as a seperate housing, and use appropriate LSD oil. Is this feasible, or even practical?
I have been looking for a viscous LSD to replace the plate LSD that I do have, but I have been unable to find one.
