Help with 5 Spd 6 Bolt into 93 Auto
Ok My motor in my 93 Auto Talon has taken a grenade and I am putting in a 6 Bolt 5spd motor from a 90 Car Into it. I have already shaved the dowel pin on the crank that is used for the flywheel and have bought a 6 bolt 4 point flexplate. Now my question is this: My 7 bolt motor looks like it has a sort of Pilot bushing inside the end of the Crankshaft and my 6 bolt has nothing. Does my car need this and can I use it out of the 7 bolt into the 6 bolt? What is this for the torque converter?
