Ok guys im looking at buying a 1991 GS with an auto tranny, the car has 135K on the clock the car has been lady driven since it was bought. The car has been well taken care of... I have had several DSMs but never had an auto tranny.... What im curious to know is how well these trannys hold up ? are they garbage? Im looking to install a big 16G and nothing more, i had an FP Green powered GSX and it was just more of a headache then it was worth.... So post up your opinions on how well the car should hold up with a 16G setup. is it going to be a PIECE? or be OK? or fun to drive???

GS? Or GSX?
I wouldn't bother with throwing a 16G on if you have no plans of doing anything else to it. If you don't have the supporting mods then it won't be as much fun IMO.
