Stuck in 3rd gear????

I got a car off my buddy.... the tranny was fine then someone cut the od button wires and now the car is stuck in 3rd i think????? the od light abd the pwr light on the dash doesnt work either? did this just blow a fuse or did it fry the tcu...

Seems like you are under what we call LIMP MODE. that's why you are stuck in 3rd gear. Check all the fuses to see if any are blown.

Secondly, I would try to get the any error codes from the TCU. If you do get any errors codes you need to find out what it is.........
