I purchased a first generation spoiler and I was curious if anyone knew of a site or something that gives detailed instructions on installation of one of them. Thanks for the help.
Edit / Solution Used: Using a plastic drop cloth draped over the spoiler, I was able to create a template of the mounting points and holes of the spoiler. Lay this template over the rear deck lid and tape it in position where it ought to go. Use the mounting brackets to help determine just where the spoiler ought to sit.
Mark where the mounting holes on the template end up on the deck lid. Use a punch to create a guide for your drill bit so it doesn't walk off. Use an appropriate sized drill for the mounting holes and cut some metal. In order to seal the lid, I used bicycle tire tubing cut into gaskets. Overall, this was not difficult to do; do take your time to make sure everything lines up, or else you can end up with a mess like stated below.
