You'll have to forgive my lack of proper electronics terminology. I work on digital stuff, never analog.

Basically I want to build a small circut that allows me to convert duration switchs (like the passenger window or my aftermarket electric moonroof) into a momentary switch that will keep going for X number of seconds. Basically make an autodown for the passenger side and a one touch close and open for the moonroof.

Is there any easy way to do this? Aftermarket circut to splice in or small circut to build?

when i had my VW, there was a thing on VW Vortex about adding something like a diode to make it work like that. go to the site, and try doing a search. if i wasnt lazy, i'd do it for u, but i am so sorry :)

LOL... you know if you went to a computer site like www.forumoc.com there are some realy good ppl there that can probly help you more... theres alot that know about that kinda stuff..

just go to the "Freak Show" and at the top you will see other's and (duh) go to the one labled "cars" and post there..

why dont you try getting the drivers side switches on the door from a junkyard and figuring a way to hack it up so it fits on the passenger side that way you will have auto down

#1. They want a lot for those. Already had to replace the factory one.
#2. That still wouldn't work for my moonroof.
