Ok guys heres an update! Foglights, front bumper emblem, and oem eagle key are all on the car now! I also did a few of the "free mods" last night. Removed the BCS restrictor and added a breather filter on the VC. Also added an aftermarket boost gauge! Ok picture time.

Front bumper emblem fresh out of the package. (according to Mopar its now a "vintage part"

Heres some pics of the fogs before they went on, they were REALLY clean.

Old emblem removed and sanded down the area, filled in the old crack with JB weld

Heres the interior with my new boost gauge and triple pod installed.

Heres the foglights and front bumper emblem installed

Engine bay with the vacuum lines for the boost gauge and VC breather installed (also BCS restrictor removed)

Heres the new OEM Eagle key next to my old Mitsu. one

I'm probably going to be putting my downpipe from my GS-T shell on it this weekend (hopefully anyway) if I do I'll be sure to update again. But now its all ready for Import Alliance next weekend!!! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures there. Engine mods are going to start being added here in the near future. (I got the hp bug now ) I'll continue to update as I go along! Paint to come hopefully soon as well. Thanks for all the support guys!

Woah, where did you get that Eagle key!? Could you get me one?

It's looking good. foggers are super clean, and those are the cleanest brackets I have ever seen!

local dodge/chrysler dealer had a blank sitting in their parts room for years. When I asked for one the guy behind the counter was like thats going to be difficult, but I'll see if we have one. The kicker is, it was $10 cheaper than an OEM mitsu one And I know! especially for a NJ car!!! (thats what they came off of)

Great work so far and i love the small little details you incorperated into this project. I must say that i dont reccomend teeing anything into your BOV line. It could affect the way it works. Also the filter on the VC should not be on there as you are allowing unmetered air to enter the intake system and isnt good for crank case pressure relief. Please, no offense i just want to help you out. This thread has help me out plenty. Thanks

Thanks a lot man! I put the breather on there because (well at least according to the free mods) quote "This keeps oil out of the intake pipes and the intercooler" And on teeing into the BOV line we just weren't sure where to put it. It seems to work the same though. And I took my catless downpipe off of my GS-T shell and put it on the Talon tonight. Sounds a little deeper, not as much as I'd hoped though. And it also fixed my exhaust leak problem!

Do you want me to scout a blank OEM Eagle key for you too? So it will be "official"?

I'll see what I can find for you man!

I just plastidipped wheel #1. I left the lip polished because I wasn't sure if I wanted a completely black wheel. I'm currently taping of the sideskirts to paint the letters. I should have photos this evening!

Finished the passengers side. Drivers side is next.

Finished the wheels and painted the side skirts!!! Car looks 100x better!

Wheels all finished and mounted on the car!

I'm not missing a lug nut, one of the wheel studs snapped off Guess I need a new one.

Letters all painted up! (I did the Chrysler pentastar as well I couldn't get the camera to focus on it)

And the new emblem!

Lookin great^^.. I never got my bumper yet as the one i was looking at was ripped. But i did get the side strakes finally. Had to drive 40mins each way to pick those suckers up. May i ask what you used to put on the strakes? I have no clips and a ton of glue to scrape off these things.. I want to try and put the proper parts on.

I ordered some new clips from the stealership. (just the sideskirt mounting ones as they do not have the strake "specific" ones anymore...) and I dremeled out the mounting tab just a sleight bit to make the clips fit nice and snug. then I measured the holes (all the measurement I found were wrong btw) We just lined them up with the rear bumper where it "pops out" and lined it up accordingly. We drilled the holes and put waterproof silicone on the edges of the strakes (after scraping off the old double sided tape of course) and pushed the clips into the holes. Dad pushed the strakes onto the car while I was inside the car with a socket on the otherside of the hole so they would fit nice and snug It was a pain but well worth it. Just take your time and be CAREFUL with these things as they are very fragile, and well as we both found out, hard to find. If you do break one however, like mine was before I got it, I have a very nice for it.

Thanks man! And you and me both! I'm aiming to shoot it in the fall. I'm just going to get some quick drying single stage paint from summit racing. I've already got it priced out and everything. The reason I'm just going to do the "cheap stuff" is because again I don't have any money (damn college ) and because this is our first time shooting a whole car with a paintgun. So if we screw up we're not out a million bucks. Also our shop isn't neccesarily the greatest for painting. But hopefully by then MY shop will be up and functional! Engine mods are soon to come as well. I'm shooting to get it into the mid to low 8s (1/8th mile) these next few months. Car has come a very long way since we got it and I couldn't be happier with it

Thanks for the tips. I am goin to a junkyard to get a template of the holes. I can get the adhiesive tape from any auto parts store. I hope to have them on this week and it probably might look silly without the rear bumper but it will motivate me to find the god damn thing faster.

I have a set at home. I don't know if I want to use them though. They changed the font a bit between 1G and 2G, so they don't quite fit with the rest of the car.

Thanks man! And the Eclipse, I fixed it lol. Its still looking good, runs like absolute garbage however. So I just drive the Talon everywhere now.

And Import Alliance was really fun! Despite the fact my wipers suddenly stopped working in the middle of the pouring rain, and the roads there sucked so bad I bottomed out my suspension and one of my struts are popped out of place now
