The autozone ones use a plastic peice that slides on to your shifter and then you tighten down the shift knob to it with screws which end up breaking the plastic and even backing out. The plastic always and I mean always break after a month or so and the knob will just turn on the shifter. They are cheap and look good but plan on replacing.

This is what I changed to.

awesome thanks! I found one in those specs its an autobot logo knob... but I dont think it will go well with the seat covers im planning on getting... maybe ill get different seat covers lol

Heres the one my old eclipse had, carbon fiber with red boot (came with the car, wasnt a huge fan, but it was comfy)

ive got that same shift knob.... not sure if i like the OEM one or that one better.
