i dont understand why no one makes a wastegate to replace e bay 16g's thats the only downfall of those turbos is that they creep. plenty of people have the problem but no vendors have the solution.

or even the tommi mack 6.5 turbos.
Would require two different manifold versions. EVO's started using divided at I think it was EVO 7? Or it was evo 8.

Plenty of vendors offer the 16g with a 34mm gate, it just has a nasty tendency to prematurely blow open.

Lower window trims for 1g.
We also need steel or stainless steel motor mounts that will not break. NON Core required.
We need an oil pan that has a much thcker flange that will not warp like the cheap stock ones do. This is what causes some of those mysterious oil leaks. With it, stronger bolts that can be tourqued higher.

They creep mostly because the wastegate hole is grossly undersized. Having a WGA that opens all the way will help to a point in that case, but you really need to port the passage to better match the flapper.

I too would like to see a WGA that opens farther than the stock 3/8"; especially for the MHI 16g.

well hey its the guy who invented the answer haha. yeah i just dont have the welding skills or any friends that id trust to do the mod. it doesnt really creep now that i got my fuel pump and can boost at 20 lbs. but still if somebody just made a whole actuator that was bolt on and had more travel

I would like to see a 1G to 2G interior conversion kit . I hate the 1G interior. Also how about a 1g front splitter that works and actually goes under the car.

Need to have a replacement for the EVO III Oil Filter Housing made up for the 7-bolts that want to run the external oil cooler without having to have the sandwich cooler on the oil filter. That would be great since it is discontinues and I will need one soon and I am sure others want one also.

Edit: Would also like to see some upgraded CV Axles for the FWD turbos. I have looked all over and have not been able to find them anywhere.

Yeah I know that they are around but since the factory has discontinued them, they are getting harder and harder to find and getting one that is brand new and has not been molested is always better than getting a used one that you have no idea if it has been put through the "cleaners" and no longer works the way it should but it is the only one around and you really have no option and have to take the chance with it anyways.

2G dual tip muffler

I searched this thread for dual tip and dual exhaust; no hits. I want a dual tip, 3" inlet muffler like Mack has without having to do all the work he did. I prefer the sleeper look, want good performance and don't like melon launcher tips. DSMtuners - - kenamond's Images

I like this idea. Dual tip mufflers fit 1gb's very well too.

EDIT: Heck, just a stock looking 3" straight-through style turbo-back/cat-back. As far as I know they aren't being made anymore.

Dual Tip Exhaust

I found this. 3" inlet, 3" dual tips. Are those pomegranate launchers? Something like this with <3" tips could be acceptable.
eBay Motors: 3" INLET DUAL EXHAUST MUFFLER MITSUBISHI LANCER ECLIPSE (item 350060345111 end time May-19-08 18:16:31 PDT)

+1 with dual wall tips as small as possible without restricting air flow so they look like stock. These would sell like hotcakes, I dont see why a manufacturer hasnt done it.

2g drop spindles, esp for the front. Alum ones to save weight and to recess the part of the spindle that comes closest to the tires. Being able to run lowered with stock geometry and fitting a 275 tire tucked easy would be all doable. I would pay big money for that, being able to get that rake is critical, makes the car much more nible, aerodnamic and adds traction from reduced weight transfer.

what would this entail? how would you change the geometry? could you photochop it or ms paint it to give me an idea? i am just curious. would an aluminum piece have to be beefier than a stock piece or do you think it could stay the same size?
