That cf air intake shield will work mostly on stock setups though....not so much for people doing a full build

Definitely some great ideas here. I'd be all over OEM replacement trim pieces, interior panels, etc. Here are a couple that I didn't see mentioned, maybe I just missed them:

1. A dual gauge pod for the 1G steering column like the one for the Evo:

2. OEM quality headliner material. All the aftermarket stuff I've found looks cheap.

3. Stock type suspension bushings. I don't want poly all around but can't find a good source for stock type rubber bushing. I have found some OEM style control arms for $120 that include bushings and ball joint, might have to go that route with poly subframes.

4. Already stated, but reasonably priced dual outlet 3" stainless exhaust. Most options out there (Vibrant etc) have 3" inlet dual 3" outlet and the inner muffler cores measure just over 2". This equals a 3" in cross sectional area but you have to consider the increased drag through the muffler because of the increased surface area. Magnaflow makes a 3" 2.25" dual out and dynomax makes a good 2.25"to 2.5" round tip which would be ideal.

5. It is probably isn't at all profitable but the fade decals on the 1Ga from the silver ground effects to the stock paint. No longer made, so if you want to repaint you car stock you need to leave them off. Doesn't look bad but not stock looking. Even better would be a good fade rather than the dots they used to make a fade effect.

There should be a sticky thread made for when any of these parts start to become available.

I know I'm latewith this post but Carquest auto parts DOES sell sway bar end links for 1gs. They will most likely have to order them from a warehouse it will take 2-3 days to get. If it helps I beleive these are the same endlinks as some early to mid 90's hyundai elantra and accents. I just replaced mine and it was problem free

How about a shortened shifter bar so you dont have to cut the stock one a half inch and then weld it back together just so the shift knob isnt sticking a mile high out of the center console

Are these the endlinks for the front sway bar and are these just like OEM?

I second the tubular control arms.. i've been looking for them, for both my 1st gen dsm and my 240sx, but cannot find them anywhere. They would be a popular upgrade for almost all tuner cars.

I also feel that 1gs need a gauge solution for the steering column that doesnt block everything. Make the whole thing out of black abs, top and bottom, and be able to mount a gauge or two. We need alot more 1g parts too!!!

1G Tubular Frt Control Arms.
1G Subframe Bushings in urethane & aluminum...There was someone making these but I can't get a response so I would assume he isn't offering them anymore.
1G Active Toe Elim in urethane instead of a spherical bearing.
1G Fuel Cell for road racing (15gal) not just drag.
1G Carbon Fiber Wings. Talon would have to be 5pieces and the Eclipse would be three or just make everyone convert to the Eclipse style wing.

Edit: Would also like to see some upgraded CV Axles for the FWD turbos. I have looked all over and have not been able to find them anywhere.
The Evo8 housing bolts on and gives you the provisions you need for the oil cooler lines. The only bad part is the filter points down and so you must always use the Mobil-1 M1-108 oil filter but always be careful of what you drive over.

Here is a picture of one I installed. The picture was taken with my phone a year ago or so, so sorry for the quality but you can see the filter on the left with the routing of the lines.

A 2g undertray. Front would be my highest priority, but if you can create pieces for the middle of the car, and a rear tray/diffuser as well I'd be interested too. Make sure there's an access port on the front piece for the jack point on the crossmember, and on the rear for the diff.

JayRacing is making toe link eliminators. I picked up a set and have them installed but the car is not on the road yet. Their price is pretty fair after pricing out having a local shop do the lathe work and pricing the heims, those things aren't cheap. I will be daily driving my car towards winter so in the future I'll have some updates.
