ok so i've had enough of trying to fix my interior door panels, ive bought several different clips to try and keep them attached. i've also had enough of trying to get my windows on track so that they go up right. so im planning on doing this http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...254282-how-gut-your-1g-doors-weight-loss.html
my question is, i really want to be able to take off the windows and not have the lexan permanently attached. i was thinking something along the lines of having buttons all the way around but have no idea how i would attach that or if that is even practical. anyone have any ideas on how to have the lexan removable?

You could create a frame that attaches to the car, and then attach the lexan to the frame in a removable way (ie, studs and nuts, studs and wingnuts, etc) gotta be creative man ;) Just make sure it's safe, you don't want the windows accidentally coming off, or whatever you're using to kill you in a wreck you should have been able to walk away from.

u mean drilling into the cars window frame itself, or making a seperate frame that somehow fits into the window frame? you think i could possibly drill small holes up into the middle of the frame where the window would normally slide up, as well as the bottom portion? i know i'm going to have to be creative, just trying to figure out what everyone thinks would work best. thanks for the input
