This is an eclipse that was at the HIN in Boston this past weekend. I like what he did with the front bumper although it could have been done a little cleaner and i wouldnt have had sharp edges around the cut outs they would have looked better all rounded. I am going to make a template and attempt this I'll post pics when I am done.

yea his engine bay looks sick!

anyway, yea this could be a good project, keep us up to date! :thumb: and yea make it rounded, it'll be much better. plus, the air you let into the engine bay will be great! :D

Nice radiator support, or lack there of..... ROFL

Gotta have some high intake temp numbers, even with more airflow into the bay. There was a guy here not long ago that did that to his bumper, maybe thats even him.

This is my car so i can tell you more about it if need be . the intake temps ar cooled by the intercooler before going into the intake so they are at ambient air temp or less if i run ice cooled water ( which i have yet to do ).

I didn't know you were on Tuners. I talked to you at HIN that night; I was looking under the car to see if it was AWD when I found that intercooler.

yea i have been in here for a few years i just dont post much!

One thing I just noticed he doesnt have the stock maf sensor, and it doesnt look like he has a gm maf with a translator either. Since the maf is supposed to be after the bov and about 8-10 inches away from the throttle body.

Whenever I click on this section from the front page, it gives me a error:

He's running an air water intercooler setup with a rear mounted heat exhanger. It basically runs water through it instead of air like on a FMIC. So the water removes the heat from the charge, then the water is pumped to the back of the car where it is cooled by a intercooler that he converted to run water through. Then the water is pumped back through the intercooler up front .

Well his profile said he's at 425WHP on only 20lbs but I think I read in a previous post that he should get about 600-650WHP with 30-35 lbs, but I don't know if he dyno'ed since.

Yeah the appearance forum has been down for a while now. Found the pics in one of his previous posts.
