Part number for 97-99 rear lisence plate/plate lamps bracket?
So on friday, I notice one of my rear liscence plate lamps is hanging over my plate. I think this is strange, so I reach up and find the whole bracket has completely corroded into dust. I poked around it and the whole thing shattered, and now I'm holding the lamps up by duct tape temporarily. My liscence plate bracket also was shot, but it's still held on by one bolt. :\
I'm just wondering if these are part of one piece, and if this is replaceable? Or am I going to have to custom build a bracket for this stuff?

Ok, CAPS lists this as part number 80506 for (Bracket, License plate lamp)
By the looks of it, that should also be where your rear plate bolts too.

Awesome, I figured it was all one piece, considering how much corrosion was on it. I'm not looking forward to pulling the rear bumper though.

Oh and just in case anyone's having a similar problem, you can do the whole job without removing the bumper. Took me around a half hour being frozen to do.

I had that happen to me except I went to unscrew them to change the bulb and they just crumbled.. i have the stuffed up in there tightly, but new brackets would be nice.
How much did you pay for them?

8 or nine bucks from one of the many Mitsubishi vendors. I recommend getting the little plastic screw in parts though, because mine were pretty tired, and I can't imagine them being that expensive.
Also you're probably going to have to drill out the bolts because the mount won't be able to hold the lock nut due to rust... They're just 10mm bolts though, so no big.
