Wow, that is pretty nice. That looks just like a 4g63 manifold... hmmm. Maybe they took a 420a manifold, and took the flange the mounts the manifold to the head and switched it with a 4g63 manifold...? Idk, just throwing ideas out there. Cant really see the turbo, but there definatley no external wastegate, so its simply got a internal wastegate.
Very original, I like it.

Got me I"m gonna PM him and tell him to respond here and we'll let him explain more but with the IAT sensor in the intake I bet he's standalone and that's a MSD coil looks like.

My msd has the plugs coming from the sides, not the top. I've never seen that coil pack before.
Here is a borrowed pic of a 420a with the msd coil.

And then this one?See how it is on top?....

No one said it was a Cai.....
Nemizis said something about a Cai; but it was a completely different picture he was referring to.

Anyway, turbizmo I would have to give you props on the "stock look". Do you have a fmic? If so, how do you manage to hide that?

yeah i have a 31 by 14 intercooler. oh also by the way my turbo is mounted on to my stock headers. No leaks. I had another turbo setup with a block manifold but the turbo was to big and to laggy. the only thing i am having some problems with is that i am loosing to much tracking on 1st gear but nothing bad ill just lower the psi on my tires and problem fixed maybe its because i have hardly any lag something i was trying to reach at. many people said it couldnt be done but hey i guess i can.

Sucks to live in Cali.
I would like to see somemore pics of your setup.
I assume you removed the A/C to get the downpipe to fit.
So how do you get away with the Fmic?

It's a unique setup; and like I said, props on the "stock look".

Yup that was one of the things that bugged me the most about that movie. It wasn't even a turbo engine bay I don't think

Nope, was a 420a with a regular tube header... not even converted to a 420a-t. No one will watch that movie with me because I get pissed about that.

the cops just think its a radiator lol well yes I removed the AC I had plenty of room to do the downpipe i could of put a 5 inch exhaust if i wanted to but i went with 3 inch all the way back. the headers are stock but with a 14b flange welded on it so it could all be straight bolt on. I am doing 12 psi with 300cc injectors and of course forged pistons and eagle rods with ferea valves and port polish intake manifold and other little mods.

^ thats kinda cool. You should mount your bov on the underside of the charge pipe. Make your valve cover a little more the "attention getter" to distract from the turbo. Oh..I dont see an airfilter, but if you use one, put a stock air box in their and run the intake into that. that would be a helluva sleeper.
