Wow... Another Chrome Valve Cover. Your like the 3rd I've ever seen. I'm liking all the Chrome Caps, where did you get those? Do you have an auto dampening system on that? Good work, Initial DSM !
whoooo whooo, just got an e mail from my turbo guy... gonna have it in 5 to 9 working days ohhh yah
is that a real aem cai? or is it a short ram with an extension? or is it just a knock off with an aem sticker. ### that sticker isnt the one that came on mine, thats the sticker that comes with it to put on your car. and mine doesnt have that middle coupler. what is that?

Here is my GS. I've also got a TSi AWD with crankwalk, so all my attention is now on building a motor for it. But this was fun for 8 years. Time to turn it all back to stock. It's got the whole Gude cams/head/TB/intake manifold package.

well i can deffently tell a difference, could also be because i had a broken spark plug wire too, but no matter what you say i can tell a big difference in fact with each mod ive added so far i can tell a big difference from before i added it so to u chris

Thanks man. It's close to a daily driver, been in one show so far.
[QUOTE=SnoopySLR]I noticed a good gain from my MDS wires, but I added the coil pack, and NGK iridium plugs. Nothing that huge, but throttle response was better.
cool ive got the iridium plugs as well, my next mod is going to be the mds coil pack, and thats where i feel a gain as well with the throttle responce, but myabe my excitement from moding my car added a little to my feelings of gain hehe
Geez, how do you keep them so clean anyway (Mattitude, etc.)? I've hosed mine off with gunk engine brite like 3 times but it still looks the same.
It's all in the prep-work. I used aircraft remover, degreaser, and scraped it for hours. Then sanded, and sanded, and sanded some more. Also used steel wool, more degreaser, whatever it takes to make it clean and smooth. Then find the article on here on how to paint the valve cover.

hey how hard is it to take off your Valve cover? is it just the 4 screws for the coil pack, the plug wires, and the 6 screws or whatever that go around the valve cover?
