Yeah, I think it was the last car of the month on this site that had that done. Some guy from NJ. It looked nice as hell on his ride as well. Great idea if you got the cash to throw down.
 
yep, its gonna happen as soon as our shop is done :) ive windowed a ton of computer cases with air tight molding so i should b ok with this, if everything fails ill just weld the roof back on and get like 10 gallons of bondo. i got a old junker 85 vw cabrolet im gonna take the convertable hatches and latches off of to secur it on there.
 
umm that little peice of roof im gonna remove wont do that much good in the event of a roll over, and it would probly be on anyway, if im racing ill put it on to lower wind resistance..
 
doesnt matter how much material is gone..you still ruin the structure of the roof and it will be weaker than stock. Say you just cut up a slide in the roof..no material is gone but still the roof has no holding power left.
