Thanks
they'll come in the mail in a few days, i'll be sure to post pics when i get em.

as for a good deal, i saw them for roughly ~60 for the a/f and ~50 for the boost, so it just saves me the trouble of buying them seperately, and it saves on shipping. i also got the dual a-pillar pod from there, and they shipped the two guages and the pod for $13. not to shabby. there are probably cheaper places, but this was easy and convienient (i keep most of my money in PayPal and do a lot of ebay business)

you don't need a blinky light show a/f gauge.

Waitaminute, do that again but don't move your hands so fast.

Starting from scratch, I 'd say tach, boost and temp.

Or did you mean _added_ gauges?

In my truck, I went with Boost and fuel pressure. If i was going to get a 3rd I would do tranny temp, just cause Ty's have common tranny problems. Or i would go with EGT.

depending on how modified your car is, boost/egt/oil pressure/fuel pressure/water temp ... i wouldn't trust the stock oil/water gauges (and a real A/F meter... though im getting the little blinky flashy LED just cause it's only $40 and im sure it serves SOME sort of purpose when driving and not for tuning)

Need opinions on Gauges.

I need people to help me decide which gauges I should put in to my car.
Keep in mind my car will be painted a dark "Si" blue, along with a black interior.

Which Gauges Next???

So here is what I got and I need some input. I have Greddy Boost and EGT gauges right now...
My mods are basically 20G with supporting mods with safc, injectors and fmic coming soon.

I already have a digital AF gauge (on my TT) so I dont need another light show...

I am getting the Autometer Instrument Bezel that will hold 2 52mm gauges. I am definately staying Greddy as all of my gauges are, so keep in mind what they sell

A. Oil Pressure
B. Fuel Pressure
C. Oil or Water Temp
If you have any other recommendations for something else then lemme know...

Please explain why you are recommending the gauge that you are, not just cause it looks cool

Thanks guys, I wanna get them soon, so suggest up!

Brian

well, you will need a fuel pressure gauge when you get an afpr, but that is best if it's in the engine bay. alot of people go with the oil pressure as the 3rd gauge. i have seen people tap a temp gauge right before the throttle body so you know the temp of the air entering your engine. having a temp gauge at the intercooler isn't a bad idea if you have a sprayer.

Recommended Gauges to use?

I already have a boost guage, what else would you guys reccomend me getting? Im not looking to have my car filled with 10 different guages, just what is the most important for a mildy modified car?

Was thinking of adding an A/F gauge and oil pressure gauge to fill up my triple A-pillar pods.

Run an EGT gauge, if you want to start turning up boost this will give you a more accurate idea of how lean you are starting to run when you drive hard.

get an egt gauge for sure, then maybe an oil pressure gauge... the third one really doesn't matter as much as the first two. personally I'd get one that's easy to install, heh, but that's just lazy old me...

EGT gauge is next than, is it difficult to install? I mean the boost gauge was no problem.

No its simple..you need to drill your manifold on the 1st runner then tap it with a 1/8th npt tap and there you go..

What gauges to get first?

I just got one of those a-pillar gauge pods for my car with 3 pods. The first one I know of course I will be putting in a boost gauge, but what should I stick in the other two?
