Hey guys,
Quick question, and I did search for compressor surge and the noises it makes and all that and I did adjust my bov but I am still getting a fluttering sound. Could it be the wastegate or what because I have loosened my BOV until the point when I start to leak boost. In addition I also checked for leaks. Any suggestions, thanks in advance all mods are in my profile.

When it flutters where is the sound coming from? If its the BOV then it is just tightened down to tight. Both my BOVs do it at low low psi. Loosen your BOV up a bit and see how that helps.

edit* For some reason my eyes didnt catch that it is loosend to the point where it leaks. I just recently loosened my RFL and noticed it leaks a tad so I tightened it down some. It flutters a little bit but it does not leak. WHen does yours bov flutter? At higher RPMS?

If you hear it fluttering when you let off the gas its typically too tight. If you hear it fluttering while your driving, its typically too loose. What BOV are you using?

Thanks for the replies guys. Well the flutter does make the noise when it is at low PSI, and I am using a Greddy Type S. I did loosen it more, and it does make it at higher boost levels like at 15 16 17 pounds, but if I loosen it anymore like I did the last time it is going to leak boost. I don't want to mess my turbo up by getting really bad compressor surge. How much damage can compressor surge do? I guess I can't stop it at low pressure. Thanks again in advance.
