Aberdeen,
Im getting ready to do a rewire for my fuel pump and before i do it i was wondering what exactley it does im getting my new turbo tommorrow its just a 16g but ive been told that my car will cut out if i dont.

it gives a constant power to the fuel pump. the wire that is in the car, over time, can become resistant. rewiring it is a good idea. i have never heard of anyone's car "cutting out" because they didn't do the rewire. just keep the boost down. i suggest below 15psi to be safe. :dsm:

Yeah the stock wire is like 18 guage. Damn thin. The thicker wire (10-12GA) will keep the pump's voltage constant under boost so you don't run lean. There is a vfaq on it, also be sure to fuse it.
