the crank, rods, and pistons are still the same on the 1g right? and the 1g 7bolt still has the good head? and is this motor better than the 2g 7bolt?
 
2g 7bolt > 1g.

only because the pistons in the 2g have higher compression.
 
:dsm: The 1g 7 bolts are more like 95's internally, they have the 2g rods with the 2g pistons, but then again that is only true in the 94's to my knowledge at least first hand, and you are right lower compression is better for boosting, i know becasue I am running 9:1
