Calgary,
Hi guys. Just checkin out some used AFC's kickin around. What is the differences between the two major AFC's? I know the display is a huge difference, but as far as performance, are they different, is one better/more accurate/easier to use? Thanks fellas.

The SAFC 1 is easier to use, because it doesn't have the stupid knob.

The SAFC II has more rpm points.

In addition to the above it has a Knock read feature. However, I haven't heard anything remarkable about it. Save your money and get a S-AFC.

The knock feature is garbage. It reads 50 and 60 counts on mine while the logger reads 0. talked to a few people no one has had success with it.

im installing the II version tomorrow, as my original one got ripped off. I got mine from Ebay for 275. I couldnt find any 2nd gen safc's for sale anywhere.
