My 2G AWD is about to reach 60k, so far i've kept up to date with mainetance and have to make only a few repairs. However, I know that something is going to pop up next and I was wondering what other area should i be mindful of. So far I have done:
Maintenance:
All drive belts and some new pulleys
Fuel Filter
PCV
Thermostat

Repairs:
Crank Pulley
Clutch Master Cylinder
Clutch Slave Cylinder

What else should i be concerned with in the immediate future throw-out bearing. ball-joints, axles, etc. ?

does all drive belts include a timing belt/water pump and balance shaft belt

you need to get those done at 60k. a broken timing belt will end up with at least 8 bent valves(taking the motor apart), a broken balance shaft belt can hit the timing belt and snap it(this happens alot of the time when a balance shaft belt goes), and a water pump bearing failure can result in leaking all your antifreeze and overheating causing the head to warp (anyone with half a brain usually will notice if all there antifreeze has leaked out though).

might wanna flush the tranny, and transfer case...

Yes i stated all drive belts. I also include the tensioners and water pump just to be more specific. I changed the tranny, tcase, and rear diff. fluids and 50k. Plugs and wires were done at 48k. The car is running real strong right now, however i'm getting some engine vibration (well i guess thats for another forum) :dsm:

That may just be the balance shaft belt.
Never know, depends on what exactly this "vibration" feels like.
I say honestly just get the timing belt, balance shaft and the other things necessary changed at the time changed and thats it. Theres not really any "DIE IF YOU DON'T DO" service for your car other than the belts. ;)
