I'm going to make my can gears the next project for me to get. The tuner shop I go to is a major OBX R distributor and they can get me two cams from tjem for like $220 shipped next day (same city distributor warehouse). Another choice is to getting the cam myself, though I can get two Fidanza cam gears for $190 shipped and . I'm trying to establish a rapor with my shop so spending money with them would further that. Anyone give me an intelligent opinion?

I don't know about the OBX parts. I would personally prefer to get something with more of a reputable brand when it comes to something that's going to be responsible for timing my valves. You really don't want to risk them slipping. I say you look into the Fidanzas. It's in your best interest to do a great deal of research on any part which plays such an important role in engine operation.

If you can get both Fidanza cam gears for $190 I'd say go for it. And why would you want repore with a shop that pushes OBX? OBX might make some good stuff but OBX and Fidanza aren't even in the same league.
