help install guage

i have a volt meter guage, where do i tap it in to read the volts correctly, battary???

The battery sound's good, or you could tap into a blank fuse port.

well i got the reactive one and there are three posts, one +, -, and one is S, what is the s for??????

+ is 12volts
- ground
S is signal
