is it true that you can mess up your camber angle just by installing coilovers? i just won some on eBay and my friend is trying to tell me to buy a camber kit too. :dsm:

You can let camber go for a long time ... I run 2.5 degrees all the time.

What you can't let go is the change in toe when you change ride height. You can kill a set of tires in 50 miles with the rear toe that you'll gain on a 2G when you drop it 1.5" or more.

Very true... I had it really bad.. when I lowered my talon.. my drivers side rear toe was off.. went through about 7 tires there because my toe adjuster bolt was frozen and could not be adjusted. I ended up having to buy a new arm and bolt and taking it to a shop to get it torched off and get the new one on. So before you lower it I would suggest you make sure that you can still set your rear toes. And a camber kit is needed after lowering the car.. or highly recommended. You can run it but it will cause the inside of your tires to go bald pretty quickly.
