i was thinking about getting a front strut bar for my car but i wasnt really sure if it would be worth the money...
should i get one for the front or no?
thanks-

I think they work. I added front and rear at the same time I did shocks and springs, and the car feels so much tighter around turns and corners. I say its worth it.

Yea i'd say they're worth it....i have both front and rear and the biggest thing i noticed was the dimminished body flex....they are expensive just hit up ebay they have both fron and rear for like $40.

yes, they are verymuch worth it. btw, i was wondering if anyone makes a rear strut for the 1st gen models.

This is a reply to the add about rear strut bars.. I know there is a front strut bar for the 1st Gen. But is there one for the rear strut bar..

haha and an answer to my own question ide say this strut bar was the best spent $20 ive spent on my car, its incredable and yes it was way worth it:thumb:

Hm. I've put them on both mine, and I'm not sure I've noticed a difference. Other than the rear in the 2G getting in the way of stuff sometimes.
When I put a new battery in the 1G I was in a hurry, and haven't gotten around to putting the bar back yet. I've not missed it. But I will put it back, you just gotta have them.

On my way to work I'd always pass by a flat 90 degree bend and really test my RS's cornering ability. I tried it before and after installing one of those Ebay front strut bars. The differences were really noticeable, mainly the body roll was reduced by at least 50%.

ya for only 20 bucks those ebay ones are pretty nice:thumb: :thumb:

I know they do make them but where can you get one cheap?

Also why is their none for 1G on ebay but their is like 50+ for the 2G?

:dsm:  :dsm:

there is no need of rear strut for 1g front wheel drive.I'll defently buy me a front one,cuz I almoust killed myself and the car at 100 degree tur, trying to take it with 50mph :D .

So would it be worth it to buy a more expensive one or would a cheaper one work just as well?

P.S.
sorry for bringing back an old thread

alot of people use the cheap ones u can get off of ebay. i mean numerous amounts of people and i have seen no complaints really yet. my front one was expensive because I got a solid thick one from arospeed and then rear one is expensive because.... well its rare for my car.
