how hard is it to replace shifter linkage on a 91 tlaon tsi awd? guy said the car shifts alittle rough cause of the linkkage, is this true or is it somehting much bigger?

how exactly does it shift. I personally had to replace my linkage myself in my 92 gst, the cables for the front to back throws actually seized up and was stuck in 3rd gear. The cables actually broke and unwound then eventually got stuck.

well i ended up not getting that car. it had 124k miles and a 16g turbo pushing 25 psi. i didnt like that idea too much LOL and the fact the trans shifted rough made me think it was beat the hell out of.
