DropZone Springs Help !

Does anyone know which springs go where?.... i just bought dropzone springs and i got 2 big ones and 2 small ones....

Some one told me the big ones go in the back and the small ones go in the front, if anyone knows about this please help me out ... id appreciate it... i just wanna make sure im doin it right.. thanks

I have a 1990 Eclipse FWD so I don't know if yours are the same but on mine the shorter fat ones go on front and the longer skinnier ones go on the rear you should be able to tell by looking at them on your car. Try turning the wheel all the way out and then you can see the front ones.

yea i think thats how the set up goes... i get the tokico shocks tommorow so i will prob start eiether sat or thanksgiivng weekend.. i cant wait... i have to get rid of those crappy r 1 coilovers

thanks alot man... yea if ur gonna get coilovers get the real ones... i think skunk2 make them my friend has them... those are the real .. not the no name brand they have on ebay.....

eiether that or get springs.....

Yeah I got Sprint Springs with a 2" drop.............I thought about the cheap coilovers on ebay but I just had a bad feeling about them.....

The stiffer springs go in the front. Push down on one of each type of spring (at the same time, one under each hand, with about equal force) and see which compresses less ... this is a front spring.

Unless, of course, you want to dial in some oversteer.

yea ... will i need a spring compresser to install it? i will deffenitly show pics of it after its been drop with teh springs and tokico shocks

You need spring compressors to disassemble the stock set-up safely. You may or may not need compressors to put the new springs on. I've never seen these particular springs.

i had coilovers on before.... hmm i just took the measuremetns they are

Stock is 12 inches ....

and my dropzone springs are 11 inches...

hmm i think im going to need one, what do you guys think?

ok well i just looked and i can tell by the top of the shock i can screw on so i dont think im going to need the compresser... thanx anyways guys i will send pics as soon as im done ... prob next week i shoul dhave them on sorry for the delay

i just ####ed up my suspension i put the big ones in the front and small ones in the back and now the car is dropped on the front i dont know why

i put the springs in the front bigger then the back?

Nervermind i fixed the problem... the small springs are fatter and shorter so they go in the front.... because its harder to compress

and the big springs are longer but skinny and they go in the back

i will have pics up here shortly this weekend
