Hey guys i have a 94 eagle talon the slow non-turbo one anyway i was thinking of ordering and intake and the little perfomance chip/resistor!! Anyway after i say that the intake replaces the whole air filter with that alluminum sleeve i got confused because one time after cleaning my K&n i forgot to plug that harness back into my airfilter box and the cars idle went crazy! i was just wondering if the new intake does away with the whole stock air filter housing and the plug in will my car run like crap and will the idle go crazy!! It just seem that the full 360 air intak has to hook up for the stock ecu plug in???Thanks duded:talon:

Don't be fooled by the air intakes you see on ebay, 99% are Civic intakes that happen to fit in the area where your stock pipe is. Now you can go ahead and use the tube, but make certain you use the stock aircan housing with the MAS. The MAS is necessary and you can't get rid of it. If you do go this inexpensive civic intake route, hack up the aircan for maximum airflow. There are two 89-94 N/T specific intakes that I know of; Injen and Cosmo Racing.
