Got a 91 laser rs turbo 5 speed and the motor went so i was thinking gon just dropping in a 4g63 2.o litler non turbo. Any one ever do this before???? ANd if so what all is needed for the swap??
Can i use my turbo ecu or will have to change that??
Let me know what i need foir this swap thnaks??

If you don't keep the turbo on, you'll run pig rich. 240cc<450cc's injectors

If the pistons are ok, just throw them on the nt with some rings and honing, break 'er in and your set.

Trust me, you don't want to go N/T.

The swap is probably easyer than going turbo with a N/A.

no the ECU will not work and you will have to mess with the harness as the turbos have more sensors. I'd swap the blocks and keep the turbo. (you will need differant pistons on the N/A)

The car is for my g/f so its goin just n/a no turbo i found a jdm 4g63 non turbo for like 400$ canadian!!
And just wanted to know what had to be changed for the swap!
tranny fits up mounts are the same i was told i dont have to change ecu's??
Anyways shouldnt be that bad?:thumb:
