Help!!! Car Will Not Move!!!

I HAVE A 92 EAGLE TSI AWD AUTO, DROVE THIS MORNING ,RAN FINE THEN ALL OF AT ONCE THE TRANS JUST QUITE PULLING,NO WARNING,NO SLIPPING,NO NOTHING.I'VE CHANGED FUILID AND FILTER,CHECKED FUSES,I THINK ITS ELEC.BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO START,ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECATED BOB

NO, LINKAGE IS MOVING IT.I'M NOT SURE IF THE SHIFT MOD. ISWORKING DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO CHECK BOB

If the shift linkage is moving when you shift it in to different gears, then most likely your torque converter is shot. Now is a good time to convert to a manual tranny since you will need to pull the tranny off anyways.
