the time it took you to post that you could have just told the dude about free mods, a gst exhaust, and a high flow air filter...ass LOL j/k

A good bang for the buck mod is the AF/X underdrive pulley. Around $150 and about 8 - 10 hp. I got mine from ptuning.com because howellautomotive.com was sold out. I believe that DSMtuners.com recieves a 5% discount from ptuning if you are going to order from them.

Catback Exhaust
High Flow cat or Straight Pipe (cat prefereby)
Header (not headers)
Jeep TB (throttle body) Modification

If thats not enough? 2 Words that both start with a B... Boost or Bottle. :( ........ :|

But cheap mods? Bore out the tb, Gut that cat, GST Muffler :thumb:

Hey I bought this for my Nissan NX:
http://www.spiralmax.com/

I installed it and reset the computer, and noticed a lot more of a pull to the car... maybe I was just imagining the power... but I think I noticed something... if anyone has access to a dyno they should buy one and let us all know if it is actually real or not. Sure they have claims on there site, but anyone can type that out... hehehe, lmk thanks.

LOL! I thought it was BS! I never noticed anything really... I don't know some people always said it does but Meh! I took it out of my NX, and it still drove the same. I don't know... probably BS... Good waste of money.

You will see a massive increase in torque the 1st time its connected to a tow truck :p

Lol, ok, now it makes sense. Gotcha :thumb:.

MB

LOL same here. I think I've seen you [92awddsm] call him out with 4.5 years old or 5 years old etc in multiple threads, and I thought you were mocking him saying he made a childish useless post or something. I get it now.

Yea but thats usually only on forced induction cars as said on the website you have bought the pulley from. On N/A cars the power gain is less.

hey everyone, i bought a AEM Short ram intake for my 97 Eclipse GS, and i used the stock 2.5" AEM Dry Flow for a while n it did make a difference, then i thought about buying another filter with the open end cone style(like the Blitz:sneaky:) with a 3" opening and buying a 3"-2.5" coupler so it would fit on the intake pipe and on the filter, with a little bit of dremmel(spelling)tool work it fits perfectly into the filter and fits fine on the intake tube and i actually feel a difference in power buy switching from a 2.5" filter to a 3" filter, i guess it gets more air into the manifold, and we all know, more air = more power!! :thumb:

Where did you hear that from? There's absolutely no reason why a turbocharged car would realize greater gains from an underdrive pulley than a naturally aspirated vehicle.
