i tried the search first, but it didnt really help. i have a 2" drop, fwd and i wanted to go with 225-40-18's, just wondering if anyone out there has a similar combo.

the pic is the day that i put it on, it has been in the shop the past month getting the rest of the work done, i am just proud of the work i did myself..anyways im asking this question because im not going to be able to do any other bodywork to make the wheels fit because the paint is going to be done by the time i get the wheels on

I am running 18*7.5 Enkei RS6 with 215/40/18. The car (1G) sits on Eibach Sportline springs (approx 2" drop). I have not had any problems.

I'm running 18x7" wheels with 225/40/18 tires and I have had no problem at all. My suspension consists of GC coils and KYB AGX shocks, and it is definitely lowered more than 2" all around. The suspension rides REALLY rough, but I have a feeling that my stock bushings are completely shot so I'll be replacing them with Energy bushings as my next mod in hopes that I'll get a little more absorbency.
