hey guys,

My clutch started slipping, so obvisously it needs changing. My friend was telling me that I need to change the flywheel and tranny also. Due to my lack of knowledge on the subject I'm resorting to all the experts that frequently visit this site. Can you please tell me what I need to change, and how much (estimated) would each part cost.

I would really appreciate the info.

You don't need to replace the tranny. You do need the flywheel resurfaced(40-50) if it can't be resurfaced you will need a new one.

Later,

Just to let you know, mine is/was a pain in the ass.. so far i've replaced every single component of the clutch system (flywheel was 96 dollars from satan), and the clutch set (clutch plate, pressure plate and throwout bearing) was about 130 from Advanced Auto..

oh, i didn't get a new tranny yet...
