Warlbro 255 pump questions?

Well i have the 255 high pressure, do them 2 different kinda matter besides i will need a AFR with this one. Are there any performance differences. I heard something about them runnin HOT, i havent read anythin on that but that just what i heard. Also do i really need the rewire kit, does it help or anything ?? thanks

I would advise that you do the Re-wire mod.
The "high" whines. the "low" doesnt.

rewiring it means it will keep constant voltage which is a good thing so yes I strongly suggest rewiring it

I have a question related to this thread. I know about the stock rewire of the fuel pump. For a 255, is the rewire the same or is it different?

Ask the owners of AGP turbo if they think high volume fuel pumps like the Walbro 190 and 255 should be re-wired.....mine's not. Are you really planning to run 600hp? Then you don't need to rewire those big pumps, actually is may ruin the pump and reduce its life. Black95GSX, wanna put some more info on this?

Mine's not rewired yet and worked fine on the Big28 setup ..but I was planning on doing it once I get my AFPR and 720's.

Whinebro pumps suck as*. For $185 you can get the Supra TT pump (305lph), have Denso reliability and it installs just like the stock pump with no modifications. I have it in my car and can't hear it at all. All of our cars run it, and why not. You can go 10's on that pump.

Is an adjustable FPR necessary to run this pump with 550s?

anything over the 190lph you should really have an adjustable fpr
